“There’s no answers here” – Original song by Leila

We’re happy to share a video of an original song performed by Leila, a survivor of the cult from Charlotte, NC, who has used songwriting in processing her experience and as a means of communicating it with others. Leila first performed this song to a public audience at an event this month. It’s encouraging how unafraid she is to share her story with the world–she demonstrates how vulnerability can go hand in hand with self-empowerment.
